THERESE ANDREWS & EMMA OLIVER

Debate: ‘Teach like a champion’ vs an enquiry approach: is there a middle ground?

Therese and Emma lead the academics at a new Senior School that is trying to think beyond the national education system. They have taken very different routes in their teaching careers, which has led to very different experiences of classroom approaches. This debate, chaired by Jenny Hampton, will consider the value of those approaches plus the development of a middle ground to benefit all learners.
