An overview of the overhaul of the national curriculum in Wales which will begin in September 2022 and has stemmed from years of planning and preparation. Can the promise of a school-based, bespoke curriculum focusing on Knowledge, Skills and Experiences come to fruition and really impact the way we teach our young people in mainstream education? Or will the reality fall short?

Rebekah Bawler is a teacher and leader in a South Wales comprehensive school, with almost 20 years experience in a range of subjects and leadership roles. Over the past few years she has supported teachers and leaders from many schools with their own digital development through face to face sessions, conferences, teachmeets and articles.
