Inspecting the microcosm to inform the macrocosm: reflections and observations of young people in the education system

The education space is a microcosm of wider culture. It is the arena in which cultural ideas and ideals become internalised within a young person’s framing of the world. This presentation explores observations from working in secondary and higher education, and how these observations can be utilised to inform a richer, more representative learning experience for all young people.
