LEAH BODEN

The fresh face of an age-old educational philosophy

Charlotte Mason was a revolutionary British educationalist in the late 19th century, who stood on the shoulders of giants and pioneered a new way for children to learn. The early 1980s saw a resurgence of her work within the American homeschooling movement, and this has since spread all around the world. In this session, we will explore what makes Mason’s philosophy a stand-out movement that is still relevant today, as well as offering tools to implement her methods in the classroom or at home.
