Parent Power: Empowering parents to create educational change
Parent Power is a programme that trains and supports parents to campaign on issues of educational inequality impacting their local community. In this session we will be hearing directly from participating parents, as well as looking to the evidence to understand the wider impact on parents, children and local communities.
Bio
Dr Katie Jones is the Research and Evaluation Manager at The Brilliant Club, a national charity that supports less advantaged students to access the most competitive universities, and to succeed when they get there. Katie will be joined by Parent Power leaders from across the UK.
