ANDREW SPEIGHT
A culture of wellbeing: why we must put positive mental health at the heart of the ethos of schools.
The presentation will serve as a rallying call to action for a significant cultural shift within schools towards a culture of wellbeing; one wherein students are encouraged to always put their mental health first and are taught to hold rest in equal regard to work. We need to give young people & teachers the dignity of a healthy work-life balance, so that no one in education is under the ridiculous amounts of pressure they are now.
